ZIMROB is built to collect as little as possible. No accounts, no cookies, no ads, no third-party trackers.

Server logs
When you open this website, the web server technically processes your IP address, the requested page, the time and your browser's user agent in order to deliver the page and keep the service secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Play statistics
To find out which experiments people actually enjoy, we count play sessions. When you start a game, the server stores:
- which experiment and game version you played,
- when the session started and when it was last active,
- where you came from (the referring website or campaign name, e.g. "google.com"),
- your device type (desktop, mobile or tablet) and country, derived from your request,
- gameplay events such as "first sale" or "upgrade purchased",
- an anonymous visitor hash.
The visitor hash is calculated from your IP address, your user agent and a random value that changes every day and is deleted after two days. Your IP address and user agent are not stored. The hash cannot be traced back to you and cannot be used to recognise you on another day. Nothing is stored on your device for this. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the games (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Game progress
Some experiments may save your game progress in your browser's local storage so you can continue later. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Fonts
All fonts are hosted on this server. No requests are made to external font services.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and to object to processing of your personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
